It’s transition time for our wardrobes. And I am here to help transition a piece that I think can easily be worn year round (even though some may disagree) – it’s your white pants, people!
I LOVE wearing white all year round. No white after labor day, blah blah blah. White can easily be worn after labor day and into winter for that matter, just make sure you’re doing it right.
When I am transitioning my white pants into fall there are 3 easy points I like to stick with —
one // pair with autumnal hues
I think the easiest step when it comes to wearing white pants into fall is to start pairing them with autumnal hues like orange or mustard or olive. Easy enough, right?
two // wear thicker fabrics
Lace and chiffon are fine as long as it is still warm outside but once the temperatures start to fall, pair your white pants with a chunky knit or a cargo jacket. I also like to trade out my linen for corduroy or a thick chino.
three // trade out your shoes
Nothing says summer quite like white skinnies and strappy sandals. So, if you want a fall vibe trade out the sandals for mules or ankle boots.
That’s it folks. Are you a rule breaker? How do you like to style white pants in the fall?
