Two Valentine’s Day Outfits for the Neutral Closet

You all know I love my neutrals and that its rare for me to incorporate color into my wardrobe – as far as I’m concerned burnt orange is a neutral. 😉 But when a holiday rolls around, I do try to be a bit festive and reflect that in my outfit choices – red for Christmas, maybe a sparkle or two for New Year’s Eve – but then there is pink for Valentine’s Day. It’s no secret that I don’t wear a lot of pink. I mean, I have a couple of pink pieces in my closet but it’s not a color I gravitate to. Given that, I challenged myself to be festive for V-Day but remain true to my style. It turns out pink and camel make quite the color combo.

PINK?! Now, I’m not talking hot pink. When I do wear pink (which isn’t very often), it is a dusty or brown pink and of course, I pair with a – you guessed it – neutral color.

So, this Valentine’s Day I styled two outfits combining pink and camel, that I think you’ll love.

Both pairs of pants are from last year, boo … but I linked some similar ones at the end of this post.

I love this color combo and it was a bit of an unexpected one for me. Maybe you wear pink and brown together all the time or maybe this was just what you needed to incorporate pink into your neutral wardrobe.

Happy early Valentine’s Day friends.
