Hey everyone! The other day I was sharing a few outfits over on Instagram and I received a message from someone asking if I could do a review of the Nisolo heeled Chelsea boot I was wearing. Well, I thought that was a fabulous suggestion so I took it. Ya’ll, I’ve even got a code to share with you to save 25% off! Use CDAVIS25 through 12/4, ahhhhh!
First off, I purchased these boots last year and I am still wearing them this year if that tells you anything — I LOVE them. I searched for the right heeled ankle bootie for me for some time and these were perfect. These even beat out the Madewell Reagan bootie, and you now that says a lot for me. The first night I wore them out, I received compliments almost immediately.
Alright, now let’s talk about how they fit. The first night I wore them, I remember thinking that they were super comfortable, especially for the first time wearing them. There wasn’t much of a break in process – they already felt molded to my feet. And they have remained comfortable; I have since worn them all over downtown Nashville. The heel height is 2.5″ so, not too tall and certainly not too tall to be uncomfortable.
The “ankle hole” (if that makes any sense) is wide and the leather is stiff and sturdy. It just looks like a quality boot. My most favorite part about these boots is that the ankle shaft isn’t too high. I don’t get that weird bunched up jean look where I have to roll up my pants. I have also loved styling them with ankle socks and dresses or skirts, like here.
The color I have is brandy. It is on the redder side of brown, but in a deep, rich, warm way and I love it.
I have not yet worn them in the rain or nasty weather. I really want to preserve these. So I plan to use a protectant spray on them. I have noticed a few scratches, but nothing I can’t buff out.
Hope this review is helpful and don’t forget about that code!
