Fall has definitely arrived in the mountains and we couldn’t resist taking a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the fall colors. I love seeing the changing leaves, it’s one of my most favorite parts of fall. I love incorporating those colors into my wardrobe too — all of the warm reds, mustards and oranges. I talked about my color crush on the deep red cabernet hue recently but this post has to be dedicated to the color of this cardigan — an amazing shade of burnt orange. I’ve found myself seeking out this color, I want every piece I can get my hands on!
Not only is the color of this cardigan perfect but it is so cozy. It even has a hood! Talk about the perfect cardigan. And guess what? It was ony 20 dollars! What?! I found it at Forever 21, it comes in black too. I am loving this large checked plaid shirt also. I was in search of a plaid shirt like this for so long and I finally found it at Loft. It was a bit too long for me (it is a tunic shirt) so I went with a petite to make it closer to the length I preferred.
The leaves were so beautiful. It looked like the mountains were on fire. I’m hoping next fall we can travel up to New Hampshire and Vermont to experience fall in New England. But it is hard to beat fall down here in the South.
Hope you all have a good week!
